We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team on 1st shift. This role is ideal for a machinist who enjoys hands-on work, complex setups, and producing precision components for industrial repair and rebuild applications.

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, boring mills, and other conventional machine tools
• Machine, modify, and repair large industrial components to blueprint specifications
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and work instructions
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection equipment
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds appropriate for various materials and applications
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards throughout production
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair projects involving worn or damaged equipment
• Work collaboratively with machinists, welders, and maintenance professionals to complete customer projects
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

• 3+ years of manual machining experience preferred
• Strong experience operating manual lathes and mills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques
• Experience machining large components is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage setups with minimal supervision
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
