PPG Cardiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our robust practice of 30 physicians and 22 APPs to serve patients with diverse cardiac needs in the communities we serve. Successful candidates will collaborate with intra‑interdepartmental team members as well as community organizations, multitask, and use critical thinking skills to best serve our patients.
Schedule and Responsibilities- Day Shift – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekends, and an additional day of the week
- Inpatient coverage
- Work location at PRMC
- Collaboration with 30 Physicians and 22 APPs
- Participation in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
- Daily patient rounding, consults, and triage

- Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional)
- Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS/ACLS‑EP
- PALS
- ATLS
- CSR
Certain departments or specialties may require additional experience as a nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
