Job Details
- Specialty: Med Surg RN
- Location: Fort Wayne, IN
- Salary: $2072 per week
- Start Date: June 30, 2026
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, Day
- Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patients.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physician.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift 20 pounds easily and may need to lift patients up to 50 pounds k in a fast‑paced environment with patients that may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
Qualifications- BLS certification
- 1.5 years recent acute‑care experience
- Additional certifications required before assignment (as specified by agency)
