The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized care for neuro medical surgical and telemetry patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend
• Schedule:
  
  36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid nursing license;
  Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (can be obtained during first week of orientation);
  Minimum of 2 years of experience working in neuro medical surgical units;
  Experience with neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management, and post‑surgical care;
  Able to manage higher acuity neuro diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, post‑op neuro surgeries, level 2 trauma, and level 1 trauma post‑ICU care;
  Fluency in neuro assessments and post‑surgical procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Expertise in neuro assessment skills and critical thinking.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required to other med‑surgical or telemetry units.
• Additional Information:
  This position is a contractor replacement. Travelers must attach required licenses and certifications; must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted; submission must include a driver’s license and permanent home address matching .
