Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Travel Nurse
-20325 – Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay: $2,846 – $2,886 per week. Stipends $1,246; base pay $1,600–$1,640 weekly.
Shift: Day, 10 hours per day, 4 days per week (06:30 am – 05:00 pm).
Contract length: 13 weeks, starting July 20, 2026.
ResponsibilitiesAssist and circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases including:
- CABG, AVR, MVR
- Ascending aortic aneurysms
- Aortic root replacements
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs
- Femoral–popliteal bypass
- Carotid endarterectomy
- AV fistula placement
- Impella placement
- Ventricular assist devices
- ECMO cases
- Thoracotomy and robotic thoracotomy
Patient nurse–to–patient ratio is 1:1 in a 4‑bed OR suite unit. Provide EMR documentation using Cerner. Use hospital‑provided scrubs.
Call coverage: every 5th weekday and every 5th weekend. No block schedule option.
Qualifications• 2–4 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing.
• Must hold an active Indiana state RN license and BLS certification.
• Must have a permanent residential address more than 50 miles from the hospital (local candidates not accepted).
• Required to submit license, certifications, driver’s license, and proof of address.
Additional InformationHourly rate: $40–$41.
Weekly stipend: $1,246.
Bi‑weekly gross: ~$72,000.
