Our goal is simple: improving access to healthcare in our community and surrounding areas. Neighborhood Health is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse to our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse , you will:

  • Get to know patient’s by reviewing charts and observe previous provider note and orders and ensure any necessary prep work is complete prior to exam.
  • Support patient’s health by reviewing information with patient’s, report test and examination results, ensures provider notes and signatures are documented for all orders, consultations, and exams.
  • Aid patient’s in administering pregnancy tests, urine tests, hemoglobin, lead levels, glucose tests, EKG, Hgb Alc, non-stress tests, hearing tests, retinal photography, and vision screens.
  • Assist patients with continued education on their health status, immunizations, preventative health, laboratory tests, personal hygiene, birth control, physical exams, prenatal, and post-partum care.

Requirements:

  • Two years of professional nursing experience in family practice, pediatrics, and/or ob-gyn preferred.
  • Indiana State Licensed Practical Nurse required.

Education Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
