Nurse Practitioner- Virtual Psychiatry

Overview

Parkview Physicians Group is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our practice that employs excellent diplomatic communication skills. The candidate should be able to collaborate with intradepartmental team members as well as community organizations or members, multitask, and use critical thinking to best serve patients.

• Collaborate with intra- and inter-departmental team members and community organizations.
• Multitask effectively and apply critical thinking to patient care.
• Maintain a full-time daytime schedule with hours that may vary (Monday–Friday).

• Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional).
• Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred).

• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS / ACLS-EP.
• PALS.
• ATLS.
• CSR.

Certain departments or specialties may require additional experience as a nurse or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

The position is a full-time M-F, virtual position.
