Nurse Educator, Director of Nursing
Summary
Under the direction of the Director or VP Patient Care Services – Community Hospital, responsible for the organization, implementation, development, and physician alignment necessary to provide world‑class patient services. Establish and sustain a patient‑centered focus and, through that focus, achieve the administrative, clinical, and financial goals set by Parkview Health, in collaboration with all Parkview partners, physicians, and leadership. Responsible for operational and clinical areas as assigned.
EducationMust have a BSN from an accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are the Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). MSN from an accredited program preferred.
Licensure/CertificationValid Registered Nurse License required for the state where services will be provided. Must have current CPR certification.
ExperienceMust have five years of progressive clinical experience in the health care field; 2–3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
Other QualificationsMust have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
