Cardiovascular Intensive Care RN
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU setting. Candidates must possess a current RN license and hold BLS and ACLS certifications through the AHA. Experience with open-heart recovery is preferred. This position may require floating to like units as needed and possibly down to Progressive Care Units.
The nurse-to-patient ratio varies, being 1:1 or 1:2 on the ICU side and 1:3 or 1:4 on the step-down side. The unit utilizes EPIC charting and requires proficiency with Pyxis. Scrubs are required in the color Caribbean Blue. Mandatory attendance for orientation is required. This position is suited for adaptable individuals who can thrive in a mixed acuity environment with varying patient needs.
