RN - Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 4-10 hour days, Monday through Friday, 06:30 - 17:00. On-call requirements include 1-2 shifts a week from 17:00 - 23:00.

The RN in the Operating Room will be responsible for circulating surgical cases and managing all nursing care within the operating room. This role includes observing the surgical team from a broad perspective and assisting the team to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient's surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate surgical cases and oversee nursing care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment during surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Experience with da Vinci Robot, neuro-spine, and cranial cases is required.
• Preferred experience includes pediatric OR and orthopedic trauma.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not mandatory.
