American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring 2-4 years of CV OR experience and IN or compact RN licensure.

• Open Heart Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• 4 OR suites with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Circulates complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirements include one night per week and every 6th weekend
• No floating required
• Cerner EMR used

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2-4 years of recent CV OR experience required
• Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aortic aneurysms, aortic root replacements, abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, femoral-popliteal bypass, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula, Impella placement, ECMO cases, and thoracotomy required
• Experience with ventricular assist devices and robotic thoracotomy preferred
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start

• Circulates complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aneurysm repairs, bypass procedures, and device placements
• Scrubs provided by the hospital
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates with gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months will not be considered
• Former CHS permanent staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
