Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position at a Trauma Level 2 facility, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and IN or compact RN licensure.

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC, PALS/ENPC, and NRP certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, 5+ years preferred
• 1+ years of recent experience in Emergency Department required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• Driver's license with permanent home address matching  for consideration
• US Social Security Number required for consideration (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Emergency Department setting in a 30-bed unit
• Trauma Level 2 facility with Comprehensive Stroke Center and Comprehensive Cardiac Center designations
• Pediatric Hospital within the Hospital for pediatric cases
• Sepsis identified as a key performance focus area
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for overall medical ED cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling available with coordination on shared days off
• Uses Cerner EMR
• One week orientation including hospital orientation provided
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must work both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
