American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an IN or compact RN license and 1-2 years of recent experience.

• Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring in an orthopedic hospital setting
• 37-bed unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Fast-paced environment optimizing post-surgical patient care per surgeon preference
• Established order sets and protocols with a supportive team atmosphere
• Shift runs 3A-3P with no on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Cerner EMR preferred but not required

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, not expiring within 30 days of start
• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Driver's license with permanent home address matching  for consideration

• Provide Med/Surg nursing care with telemetry monitoring for post-surgical patients
• Scrub colors are black or royal blue
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
