Quality Inspector

Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m., overtime as required and hours may need to flex at times.

• Support operations and achieve throughput objectives via containment of suspect and non-conforming products.
• Support Quality Department to achieve quality and environmental objectives and goals.

• Learn all aspects of non-conformance area activities and perform duties on a regular basis.
• Perform in-process quality audits of production units as they are being built on both Mainline & Large Commercial production lines.
• Perform sort/containment inspection activities.
• Complete first article/receiving inspection activities.
• Support QA team members in department related activities to include continuous improvement projects, supplier quality projects, audits, vacations, etc.
• Internal audits for ISO 9001 & 14001.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems or subsystems.
• Knowledge and experience using ERP/MES systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure/test products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment or software.
• Microsoft Software experience to include Word, Excel, Power Point

• Knowledge of Water Furnace products.
• Experience using Epicor Systems
• Experience in Siemens Team Center
• Six Sigma Green Belt or better certified.
• 1 year Quality Inspection experience.
