Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems Leadership
- Lead and develop a team responsible for QMS, QOS, PMT, and Quality Excellence initiatives.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of quality systems, including development, implementation, integration, validation, training, support, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and execute quality system strategies that align with business goals and operational priorities.
- Define and lead Quality Operating System (QOS) and Quality Excellence programs across the organization.
- Lead internal and external audit activities, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications and compliance programs.
- Support supplier audits and assessments to ensure supplier quality requirements are met.
- Monitor quality system effectiveness and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate quality-related risks.
- Drive corrective and preventive action initiatives to improve organizational performance.
- Support and lead continuous improvement projects focused on quality data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Utilize data mining and analytics to improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and business decision-making.
- Implement best practices and process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Partner with IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Operations teams to ensure successful quality system integration and support.
- Collaborate with external vendors and stakeholders to maintain secure, reliable, and scalable quality solutions.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to quality system users and stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field required.
- 8+ years of experience managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Operating Systems (QOS), preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience leading quality system implementation, integration, validation, and support initiatives.
- Experience supporting supplier quality, manufacturing quality, and operational excellence programs.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as PLM, MES, and ERP platforms preferred.
Strong working knowledge of:
- ISO 9001
- IATF 16949
- APQP
- PPAP
- FMEA
- SPC
- MSA
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Quality auditing and compliance programs
- VDA, ISO, or IATF Auditor experience required (certification preferred).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent root cause analysis and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High integrity with a strong commitment to data‑driven decision‑making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and growth‑oriented environment.
