Quality Specialist
Fort Wayne, IN
Contract – 1st Shift, 9/80
Hours:
7 AM – 3 PM
Pay Rate: $25.62 per hour
Benefits: overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting quality systems or manufacturing processes
- Proven experience in implementing or supporting MES rollouts, preferably within regulated industries like aerospace or defense
- Strong ability to develop, review, and revise controlled documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and policies
- Familiarity with document control, change management, and compliance standards within a QMS environment
- Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, with a talent for translating system and process changes into clear, user‑friendly documentation
- Knowledge of digital work instructions, electronic batch records, or similar systems
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization
- Commitment to maintaining safety compliance and fostering a safe working environment
- Ability to work effectively on the floor and support real‑time deployment activities
- Willingness to collaborate with subject‑matter experts across departments to validate and implement process changes
Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Systems Contractor to lead the deployment of a cutting‑edge Paperless Manufacturing Execution System (MES). In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of digital workflows, enhance documentation, and promote a culture of excellence.
Nice to Have Skills- Experience with Aegis Factory Logix or similar MES platforms
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
- Background in regulated industries like aerospace or defense
- Experience supporting the deployment of paperless manufacturing solutions and training operators
Education and Experience
- An associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher is a plus
- Background in Quality Engineering disciplines or related fields
