Quality Technician
The Quality Technician is responsible for helping to maintain quality standards of produced parts while adhering to the company policies and procedures.
Job Description:
- Regular part inspections on the floor and in the laboratories
- Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
- Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
- Inspection and disposition of gages
- Complete weekly LPAs
- NCM inventory and organization
- Meet time and schedule standards assigned for work
- Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system
- Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills and
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Blueprint Reading
- Basic GD&T Knowledge
- Strong Communication Skills
- Root Cause Analysis
- Gage R&R
- Gaging Methods, Application, Evaluation and Calibration
- Leadership Qualities
- CMM Knowledge
