Overview

Theatre Utility Worker – Concessions Hours vary; evenings, weekends, and holidays during event season

Provide fast, friendly service while supporting concessions operations at live events.

What You'll Do Assist with preparation, sale, and restocking of concession items at the Foellinger Theatre. Maintain a clean, organized workspace, operate POS systems, and support efficient food and beverage operations during events. Work closely with the Bars & Concessions Lead and Theatre Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to ensure smooth, guest-focused service.

• Serve guests quickly and accurately during high-traffic periods
• Operate POS system for cash and card transactions
• Assemble and serve concession items, including snacks, beverages, and simple hot foods
• Maintain product quality, portioning, and presentation standards
• Restock and monitor inventory; communicate low-stock items
• Assist with receiving deliveries and rotating stock
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Set up and break down concession areas, including equipment cleaning and trash removal
• Support ADA assistance at concessions points
• Communicate effectively with leads and team members to keep service smooth

• High school diploma
• Customer service or concessions experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow simple instructions and complete repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand for 4–8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and outdoors

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual activity
• Ability to work in changing outdoor conditions and loud environments
