Server - Village Inn Restaurant

Overview

The Village Inn Restaurant, which serves the members at the Independent Living Apartment Community on the Lutheran Life Villages South Anthony Blvd campus, is hiring a part-time Server. If you enjoy working with the senior population, have great communication skills, and excellent attention to detail, apply today!

Part-time positions vary by day; all restaurant staff are required to work every other Saturday and Sunday.

• Accurately takes members' meal orders
• Serves food and drinks properly
• Removes used dishes as needed and resets tables for next meal service
• Cleaning duties and sidework as assigned

Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Excellent customer service focus
• Ability to follow directions
• Genuine enthusiasm to help others
• Ability to engage in conversation with members and staff
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
