Position: FRONT OF HOUSE (FOH)/CASHIER/GROCERY STOCKERCustomer Service

• Going above and beyond to ensure a positive shopping experience by greeting customers
• Assisting customers at all points in their shopping experience from product selection to checkout
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing customer requests in a timely and effective manner
• Receiving shipments and accurately logging missing/damaged/spoiled items
• Breaking down boxes and packaging for disposal in a quick and efficient manner
• Monitoring product quality by checking expiration dates or product freshness
• Assisting with inventory checks to make sure that inventory levels are accurate and at ideal levels
• Ensuring shelves/displays are well-stocked, organized and clean
• Ensuring pricing and signage are accurate
• Maintaining a well-organized and clean back-stock

• Handle opening and closing duties
• Complying with established procedures to ensure both a safe and clean work environment at all times
• Taking out trash
• Clean and sanitize shopping baskets

• Strong knowledge and passion for Korean food and culture
• Strong verbal communication skills with customers, vendors and fellow team members
• Friendly, polite, outgoing and professional attitude
• Excellent organization and cleaning skills
• Strong work ethics which includes being on time for scheduled shifts, proactively spending down time by cleaning and organizing, and having a sense of responsibility of all assigned tasks and roles
• Willingness to work as part of a team and to follow directions and procedures
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of products, merchandising, stocking and handling customers
• Ability to visually recognize products for quality and freshness
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
• Must have high standards for personal hygiene
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and to have the physical ability to handle large objects
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have prior experience working in retail (handling cash, checking out customers, handling customer requests, etc.)
• Must be 18 years and older
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
