Retail Sales Associate

Overview

Retail Sales Associate - 2373 at First Cash — full-time position. Earn hourly wage plus commission. Pay rate listed as $13.00 to $16.00 per hour with potential commission on transactions.

• Greet and interact with customers to provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions and merchandise options.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform open/close procedures, keep the sales floor clean and stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers; support a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Complete required training and participate in team-to-customer interactions across various merchandise categories.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may require standing, bending, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Minimum age 18;
  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service orientation, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
• Cash handling experience preferred; able to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and standard office equipment.

• Typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM store hours;
  Sundays may be closed in many locations.
• Earned Wage Access program available after 2 days of employment (withdraw wages up to 50% up to seven times per payroll cycle).
• Unlimited commission potential above hourly base rate; commission plan varies by position and location.
• Paid vacation: 1 week after 6 months; 1 additional week after 1 year; 2 weeks on each anniversary thereafter (subject to state/local requirements). 120 hours after 5 years.
• Sick/Personal time: 8 hours after 6 months; 16 hours each anniversary years 2–5; 24 hours after 5 years.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit. Details provided during interview. Payrates and commissions are subject to applicable legal requirements and company policy.
