Full-Time Retail Supervisor

Our Retail Merchandising Team seeks a competitive and ambitious Supervisor with proven experience managing and motivating associates, increasing sales, and merchandising. The Retail Supervisor oversees and directs activities of associates within assigned territories to achieve client and customer standards. They work closely with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to ensure business objectives are met.

- Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, and execute and complete all retail projects.
- Maintain Client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
- Establish and maintain client relationships including work appointments.
- Monitor and regulate expenses with regard to position and team budget standards.
- Provide accurate and timely communication, administrative support, and coaching to direct reports.
- Associate s Degree preferred.
- 4 years of applicable retail experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple duties with changing and competing deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
The Company is a leading sales and marketing agency offering outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining client and customer standards by overseeing Retail Sales Representatives and Merchandisers within an assigned territory. The role collaborates with Business Development Managers, Clients, Store Managers, and other retail personnel to meet retail objectives.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Development: achieve in-store retail excellence goals, build goodwill with trade and Clients, manage new item placements, and ensure completion of retail projects.
- Client Audits: manage and direct retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute retail projects to meet client goals.
- Enhance brand representation by maintaining trade and Client relationships and coordinating client work with appointments.
- Sales and Merchandising: ensure products are stocked, signed, faced, and aligned with schematics.
- New Items: support placement of new items in authorized stores.
- Shelf Standards: ensure items meet client shelf schematic standards.
- Call Coverage: oversee scheduling of merchandisers and review reports.
- Budget and Expense Control: manage budgeting and strive to keep expenses within limits.
- Administration/Reporting: complete accurate paperwork, reports, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.
Travel up to 30% is required; driving is essential.
Environmental &Physical Requirements
Work may occur in office, field, retail store, or warehouse. May involve up to 66%+ of the day in physical activity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and exposure to cold environments in certain stores. Safety practices are essential.
