PositionSummary
An Operations Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
EssentialFunctions
- Manage the store and crew, work effectively with store management and crews, assign and direct tasks, and follow up on all activities.
- Customer Service:
Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote a customer‑service culture (greet, offer help, thank); handle all customer‑relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience. - Merchandise & Presentation:
Price merchandise, stock shelves, support planning and execution of displays, signs and inventory of weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise, and support off‑shelf displays. - Provide personalized customer‑service feedback and coaching to colleagues (e.g., my Impact coaching, my Customer feedback, personal observations).
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
- Deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills.
- Advanced communication, supervision and influencing skills.
- Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime and to respond to urgent store issues.
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits- Anticipated weekly hours: 40.
- Full‑time position.
- Pay range: $16.00–$23.00 per hour.
