Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked. They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day. • Work in our deli, bakery, or dry grocery departments to provide customer service, including helping customers find products, fulfilling orders, and ensuring a great shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and departments, including detailed cleaning and proper food safety practices.
• Check and maintain temperature controls and verify dates for all produce, meat, and dairy products.
• Dispose of lower‑quality food products in accordance with company policies.
• Rotate and stock fresh food items to keep the displays fully stocked and appealing to customers.

• Ability to help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premium pay ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
