Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available to take home. You will juggle multiple tasks while helping members with bakery orders. It’s hard work, but the bakery team finds it rewarding and is part of a large team dedicated to happy, satisfied members.

What you'll do...- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
- Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies; ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory standards; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality while focusing on members.
- Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area per policies, ensure quality and date control of bakery items, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and package, label, and store merchandise properly.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing member experience, modeling high‑quality service and products, executing basics at a high level, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; use the Open Door Policy and apply these in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
