Job Summary
Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana, Inc. is looking for Donation Attendants for our stores in Fort Wayne, IN. As a Donation Attendant, you will greet donors, handle their items, sort and price merchandise, test items for functionality, and maintain the store’s clean, safe, and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities- Answer the donation door and greet donors promptly.
- Unload donations, hand them to the donor, and move items inside to staging areas.
- Distribute tax receipts and process donations efficiently.
- Accurately price items and move merchandise to staging areas.
- Assist in maintaining safety and security of donated merchandise, including theft control.
- Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, or flat carts to move donations or customer pickup items.
- Keep the area clean and organized during and at the end of each shift.
- Follow all safety rules and practices; heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support the mission of Goodwill.
- Maintain a positive outlook and project courteous, helpful demeanor at all times when dealing with customers, donors, co‑workers, and clients.
- Report needs for materials or equipment.
- Ensure walkways, aisles, exits, and safety equipment areas (e.g., fire extinguishers) are clear.

No specific skills required; training provided. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 100 lb. occasionally; 50 lb. frequently; 20 lb. constantly. Must be able to perform daily lifting and moving duties. - Background check required; may be subject to random alcohol and drug testing.
