The experience you'll create:
As a route merchandiser, you will play a key role in servicing and merchandising our vending machines and markets, delivering OCS orders, and helping maintain the cleanliness of our equipment. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service will enhance client satisfaction. You will utilize a company vehicle, and a company owned tablet or phone to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper product rotation, including checking expiration dates.
Additionally, you will be responsible for accurate accounting of all proceeds associated with your routes.
Ingredients for thriving:
High school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must meet all DOT requirements and pass a comprehensive background and driving history check. Chauffeur's license (where required). Prior experience in delivery, route driving, merchandising, or customer service preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to read, speak, and understand English. Proficient with computers, iPads, GPS technology, and basic inventory systems;
ability to operate box trucks preferred. Ability to operate pallet jacks (if applicable to your region). Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to balance business needs with customer requests; demonstrates consistent follow-through and quickly applies new information. Detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in structured environments with routine tasks; able to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong visual merchandising abilities and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming product presentation.
Location(s) & logistics:
Climbing in-and-out of a vehicle. Loading and unloading products from the vehicle. Bending, stooping, pulling/pushing, and twisting required. Walking and standing required for long periods. Regular lifting up to 50 pounds. Operating company truck.
