Good Shepherd Books and Gifts is seeking a part-time Bookstore Assistant to join our team. Schedule would include two-three full days per week and require availability for Saturday work rotation.
This is a year-round position.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with customers in an inviting, friendly manner and assisting them with their needs
- Completing customer transactions with accuracy
- Handle customer phone inquiries
- Receiving and stocking store products
- Processing incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensuring the store website is accurate and up to date
- Maintaining a clean and organized appearance in the store
- Assisting with annual store inventory (June 30, 2025-July 3, 2025) is mandatory.
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in cash handling
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and work independently
