Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Inside Sales Specialist at IASA Group, LLC in Fort Wayne, IN. The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating quotes, customer follow-up, market research, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications- Experience in a client-facing, sales or business development role
- Knowledge and experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients
- Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Software knowledge using Windows, including Microsoft Products (ex. Excel)
- Strong knowledge in utilizing technology
- Effective Communication and Customer Service abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Support the development of current/new business and manage existing business.
- Understand the business's ERP system and be effective in executing tasks within the system.
- Create RFQs, manage pricing, and vendors.
- Plan/buy forecasted parts for future orders.
- Establish professional and responsive relationships with customers to ensure total satisfaction and continued business.
- Make ethical and responsible pricing decisions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure the company is meeting or exceeding the service level.
- Prepare and manage daily customer quotations and orders.
- Act as a liaison between customer and internal team members to ensure all expectations are communicated, understood and met throughout the organization.
- Be a responsible and cooperative team leader with other departments to address and resolve customer problems.
- Understand and work within company policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry.
- Perform other duties as required in support of the company and/or sales division.
