Job Description

The talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. This role is field‑based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.

Immunology Account executives serve as a resource for hospitals, group practices and specialty pharmacies that are focused on treating immunological diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic disease, atopic dermatitis, and Crohn's disease.

Responsibilities include learning and development of key account management skills, including immunology franchise collaboration and communication, non‑branded value‑based acumen, effective business planning, and targeted account execution to deliver measurable impact. Immunology Account Managers provide materials and share data that show both the clinical and economic value treatment as well as positive impact the treatment can have on patient outcomes and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as account manager for the assigned geographic location, prioritizing high‑influence group practices and or limited IDN presence as well as smaller franchise internal business partners.
  • Lead and drive visible and inclusive portfolio KAM collaboration through consistent communication, follow‑up and feedback, leading to impactful solutions.
  • Develop targeted, comprehensive, compliant business and account plans with diverse input from field partners, executing account‑based resources with high efficiency.
  • Deliver consistent mastery and execution of immunology portfolio products in key IAE initiatives to drive increased sales and market share.
  • Provide details on effective disease management and empower process change using clinical and economic data that impact treatment of patients across providers in an organization.
  • Share a variety of tools to help elevate patient support and standardize care, such as clinical pathways, order sets, and flow sheets.
  • Lead and manage communication (written and verbal) on strategic and tactical insights on target accounts to Immunology District Managers and other internal business partners, creating two‑way accountability.
  • Demonstrate perseverance and resilience to tailor and execute deliverables along the call continuum, leading to an account taking specific action for implementation and impact.
  • Routinely identify local opportunities and threats and develop/modify business plans accordingly; partner with IAE and Immunology stakeholders to effectively lead without authority in a complex matrix environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven ability to succeed with at least 5 years of experience for 18/19 and 2 years or new to Immunology franchise for 17 sales or account management experience.
  • Demonstrated business results by delivering sales numbers for targeted accounts and performance to Field Force Effectiveness measures.
  • Consistent positive influence and culture of cross‑functional collaboration and communication partnerships across functional areas through demonstrated positive stakeholder feedback.
  • Effective development of business planning, organizational and project management skills, consistently demonstrated with diversity of input from field partners and sales manager.
  • Proven record of delivering beyond prescriptive selling, balancing, organizing and focusing on quality of care and enhanced patient experience on behalf of the patients we serve.
  • Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
