Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology
Pay Range$49,608.00 - $87,276.80
Key Performance Areas- Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and key strategic partners. Visit physician offices and hospitals regularly to increase referrals.
- Improve community outreach by partnering with local organizations and hospital liaisons.
- Plan, schedule, and attend dinners, meetings, and other educational programs for Company physicians to meet the public and referral physicians.
- Adapt marketing plan to regional changes, including new physicians, insurance changes, and service offerings.
- Develop and implement regional collateral and marketing materials in partnership with the Marketing Department.
- Provide territory analysis to referral base management, regional directors, senior vice president, and practice physicians.
- Assist new physicians in practice building by introducing key referrers and local community.
- Coordinate and attend events where practice physicians present or moderate.
- Research and coordinate local sponsorship opportunities; present to Company physicians.
- Oversee local marketing activities, budgeting, advertising, and sponsorship campaigns.
- Represent the Company and manage community outreach, including national non‑profits such as American Cancer Society and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
- Prepare presentations using marketing materials such as brochures, data, and reports.
- Maintain accurate industry contact databases in CRM.
- Use data analysis tools to identify competitive information, call targets, and territory planning.
- Stay current with new Company offerings to promote new services.
- Forecast anticipated market trends and submit timely reports to leadership.
- Prepare required status reports.
- After the probationary period, may participate in onboarding and training new Physician Liaisons.
- Follow federal and state regulations regarding safety, HIPAA, and patient care with highest integrity.
- Comply with all laws and regulations related to patient care, billing, collections, IT policies, and disaster recovery.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Healthcare, or related discipline is preferred.
- Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and off‑site meetings. Must comply with company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
- Four or more years in oncology industry and/or medical outside sales.
- Deep understanding of physician practice operations.
- CRM experience.
- Experience working across multiple geographies in a virtual environment, fully utilizing technology and communication tools.
- Proven ability to build and execute integrated business development plans across a geographic market.
- Outstanding communication skills, ability to influence with and without authority, and to adapt interpersonal styles as needed.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Works independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills:
PowerPoint, Word, Excel. - Strong customer service, responsiveness, attention to detail and time‑management skills.

Standard Core Workdays / HoursMonday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional weeknight and/or weekend events and/or programs.
