Position Overview:Are you a competitive sales professional who loves the thrill of the hunt but wants to reap the long-term rewards of the accounts you close?
We are seeking a high-caliber, ambitious Strategic Sales Specialist to join our HQ team in Fort Wayne. This is a full-cycle sales role where you will essentially build, own, and scale your own book of business. You will start on the front lines—aggressively cold calling and prospecting shippers. Once you close the deal, you become the dedicated strategic partner managing that account, driving organic revenue growth, and maintaining relationships.
Key Responsibilities:1. The Hunt:
Inside Sales & Acquisition
- Heavy Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling and targeted prospecting to identify manufacturing and shipping companies across the US.
- C-Suite Communication: Navigate corporate structures to connect directly with key decision-makers in shipping departments, supply chain directors, and C-suite executives.
- Pitching & Closing: Confidently pitch Circle’s transportation solutions, overcome objections, negotiate spot/contract pricing, and close new enterprise business.
Customer Account Management & Growth
- Cradle-to-Grave Ownership: Take complete ownership of the accounts you onboard, transitioning from the initial sales pitch to daily account management.
- Relationship Building: Establish deep, long-term partnerships with your customers, ensuring top-tier service and operational excellence.
- Organic Revenue Growth: Analyze your customers' supply chains to find up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, expanding your gross margins and growing your overall book of business.
- Sales Grit: Proven experience in outbound cold calling, lead generation, or high-volume B2B sales (3PL or freight brokerage experience is a massive plus).
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable commanding conversations with C-level executives and supply chain directors.
