Responsibilities
- Promote and sell products in the assigned territory in compliance with the Company’s pricing policies.
- Manage customer relationships by meeting or exceeding assigned annual gross margin budget.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and report potential claims to management.
- Inform management of local competition and market conditions.
- Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed, and recommend new items for stock.
- Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in collection of past‑due accounts.
- Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
- Provide post‑sale demonstrations of products when necessary.
- Conduct regular site visits to customers and other off‑site locations.
- Travel extensively, including occasional overnight travel, and use personal vehicle for business purposes.
- Minimum 3 years of industry‑specific sales experience; 4+ years preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
- Ability to learn new businesses independently and achieve sales goals.
- Willingness to travel and drive personal vehicle for business.
Annual base salary in the range of $48,000 to $81,000, depending on experience. This position is incentive eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
Use of personal vehicle for business is required. The company offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers, allowing ownership equity in the vehicle over time.
