To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Painting Sales Representative with a strong background in selling industrial and commercial-grade painting services.
This role is ideal for a driven, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and managing client relationships in the commercial/industrial contracting space.
Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities in industrial and commercial sectors
  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate job scope and client needs
  • Prepare detailed project estimates, proposals, and presentations
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, facility managers, and property owners
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate bids and seamless project handoffs
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Track all sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically in industrial or commercial painting, coatings, or construction services
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong knowledge of paint systems, surface prep methods, and coatings applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications is a plus
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with facility maintenance departments, commercial real estate firms, or general contractors
  • Familiarity with industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane, etc.) and safety standards (OSHA, SSPC)
  • Proficiency with estimating software and CRM tools
