The Inside Sales Specialist is a sales-driven role responsible for developing, supporting, and growing relationships within the authorized dealer and distributor network in the spectator seating market. This position prioritizes proactive outbound and inbound phone engagement to strengthen dealer partnerships, drive project opportunities, and increase revenue through the channel.
This role serves as a consultative, technical sales resource to dealers helping them identify customer needs, recommend optimal solutions, and successfully position NRS products in their markets. Estimating and quoting play an integral role in supporting deal execution and driving sales success through the dealer network.
This role requires disciplined use of Hub Spot CRM to manage leads, track opportunities, maintain accurate dealer and project records, and ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEducation and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent sales experience
- 3+ years inside sales experience, preferably in a B2B or dealer/distribution environment
- Demonstrated experience managing a sales pipeline and advancing opportunities from quote to close
- Experience using a CRM system, preferably Hub Spot CRM, to track activity, manage opportunities, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong commercial and pricing aptitude, with the ability to develop accurate and competitive quotes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business software
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on phone-based sales and relationship management
Ability to read and interpret documents such as requests for proposals (RFPs), specifications, and technical documents. Must be able to prepare clear and professional correspondence, proposals, and reports. Strong verbal communication skills required, with the ability to effectively present information and engage with dealers, customers, and internal teams via phone and virtual meetings.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, gather and analyze information, and develop effective solutions. Capable of applying sound judgment in a sales environment to address customer needs, resolve issues, and support successful project outcomes.
Computer SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
