** Security Officer - Driver Roving Patrol

** Fort Wayne, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer supporting a dynamic construction environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to service requests with clear communication and a customer-first mindset.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including building areas, staging zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions.

+ Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, directing visitors and vendors to the proper check-in process, and maintaining visitor and/or delivery logs per site guidelines.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site leadership and contacting emergency services when appropriate.

+ Complete routine reports and document security-related observations, incidents, and corrective actions taken, using required systems and/or post orders.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
