Allied Universal is hiring a Site Training Manager. The Site Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the local training program for Allied Universal personnel assigned to the Physical Security team. The Site Training Coordinator leads, coaches, coordinates, and documents the data center contract security training initiatives to include new hire onboarding training, ongoing and refresher training as well as planning for, delivering and evaluating team level training exercises and drills.
They will manage and continually assess a team of Field Training Officers to ensure the consistent delivery of these training programs.
The Site Training Coordinator develops and delivers training direction, methods, resources, and process improvements to maintain operational readiness for site incident response. The Site Training Coordinator will work closely with peers at other client locations to develop standardized or similar training programs as well as collaborating with the Global Training Program Manager on overall training objectives and use of tools. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.
Responsibilities- Coordinate site training plan in conjunction with the Regional Training Coordinator (RTC)
- Provide clear and concise guidance, materials and instructions to security staff as required
- Maintain a comprehensive current data base on all training activities, to include participants, results, and completion rates
- Oversee training and exercises as necessary for site security to maintain and improve levels of proficiency and readiness
- Identify, report and document site training opportunities to Site Operations Manager
- Direct and oversee all training activities conducted by supervisors with their assigned security staff.
- Ensure all aspects of the onboarding training program are implemented and recorded
- Routinely measure and assess the proficiency and effectiveness of training the ensure vendor and customer expectations are implemented
- Plan, conduct and evaluate training, drills, and exercises to maintain or improve officer proficiency and readiness
- Work collaboratively with Data Center Security Managers and Security Operations Center Managers to establish and conduct ongoing training events
- The selection and training of Field Training Officers; professional development of Field Training Officers; review and assess quality of work; identify opportunities for improvement and implement resolutions
- Assign tasks to Field Training Officers and measure outcomes
- Identify, maintain, and oversee the logistical and administrative tasks to support a robust training calendar that captures monthly training days, recurring obligatory client training requirements and site-specific core training needs
- Maintain all personnel training documents and files; track certifications and expiration dates to ensure all staff remain compliant with all state and contractual requirements such as guard cards and CPR/First Aid qualifications
- Deliver CPR/First Aid/AED initial and recertification classes
- Provide reports, metrics to management as required
- Contribute towards the completion of performance appraisals and setting of goals and deliverables for Field Training Officers
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess, or be able to obtain, CPR/First Aid/AED instructor certification
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a security organization
- Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in conducting classroom instruction
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
