As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Fort Wayne, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Schedule
Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You ll Do- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor and delivery processing in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly entry and exit activity.
- Observe and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and communicate with supervisors and site representatives regarding security-related issues.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
