• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support site protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, and after‑hours access.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity, and assist with routine post duties that support daily operations in a healthcare environment.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
