Duties
* Reviews all operations, mobility, contingency, and exercise plans to ensure combat readiness for the SF Squadron.
* Responsible for proper security, classification, and storage of classified documents.
* Oversees the coordination, review, and implementation of SF manning authorizations and military personnel assignments.
* Serves as the SF commander's key staff member responsible for the overall management of the unit-training program by overseeing the planning, organizing, directing, operating, and evaluating all unit training related items.
* Serves as the subject matter expert and consultant to the unit commander on all matters pertaining to the availability and management of the SF training program to meet the needs of the organization and mission.
* Develops, administers, and oversees the management of the unit's training programs to supervisors.
* Directs the certification testing (CERTEST) program.
* Forecasts and submits Deployment For Training requirements in coordination with SF commander to ANG NGB/ A7.
* Conducts unit self-inspections and assessments.
* Plans, formulates, analyzes, and coordinates budget submissions.
* Represents SF at wing training meetings.
* When needed or directed, performs and enforces the full range of security forces duties within the military installation.
* Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
* This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
* Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
* May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required.

Experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats. Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels.
Must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade for one of the seven organizational program disciplines and its applicable Security Series career. AND SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements.
