Position: Intern - Technician (Fleet Garage)

What You'll Do

* Assist technicians with preventive maintenance and basic servicing of City vehicles and equipment

* Conduct visual inspections and report abnormal conditions

* Safely move and porter vehicles within shop and work areas

* Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces according to safety standards

* Support daily shop operations and general maintenance activities

What We're Looking For

* High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing)

* Interest in automotive, diesel, mechanical, or skilled trades fields

* Basic mechanical knowledge or related coursework preferred

* Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions

* Valid Indiana Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
