As an Environmental Technician, you will be on the front lines of industrial maintenance and environmental compliance. You will work alongside experienced supervisors to execute specialized cleaning projects within manufacturing plants, refineries, and utility sites.
Key Responsibilities- Operate high‑pressure water blasting equipment and industrial vacuum systems to maintain plant equipment.
- Assist in soil excavation, tank cleaning, and the containment of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
- Support 24/7 rapid‑response teams for chemical spills and environmental emergencies.
- Follow strict OSHA guidelines and utilize specialized personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a zero‑incident workspace.
- Paid technical training: foundations in HAZWOPER (40‑hour), confined space entry, and specialized industrial tool operation.
- Defined career path: internal promotion to crew lead, project manager, or highly certified technical specialist.

$19 – $23 hourly.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 10 Construction; NIMS/ICS 100/700; AEP Safety Certification.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Comfortable working in diverse weather conditions and difficult terrains.
- Ability to wear Class C protective equipment and a half‑face respirator.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and mobile technology for reporting.
- Proactive mindset for identifying hazards and commitment to OSHA standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction.
- Strong work ethic and tolerance for strong odors and industrial environments.
