Entry‑Level Data Center Technician
Fort Wayne, IN (On‑Site) – 6‑Month Contract – $20.00–$21.00 per hour (overtime available). Expected start August 17, 2026.
Job SummaryLaunch your career in the data center industry as a technician in a large‑scale construction project.
Responsibilities- Pull and route low‑voltage cabling
- Install and assemble server racks
- Drill and secure rack systems
- Label and organize cabling infrastructure
- Port and terminate connections
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Support daily construction and installation activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Experience in related environments: construction, manufacturing, warehouse operations, electrical work, military service, or skilled trades.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work on your feet and perform physical labor throughout the day.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Low‑voltage or telecom experience.
- Cable pulling experience.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 cabling.
- Data center exposure.
- Electrical wiring experience.
Monday – Friday: 7 AM – 5 PM;
Saturday: 1 PM – 8 PM. Overtime is common during startup phases, typically 58–64 hours per week.
- Pay $20.00–$21.00 per hour; overtime paid at 1.5×.
