Full-time Construction Technician based in Fort Wayne, Indiana to join our team. • Perform construction related activities on assigned projects including excavation, concrete work, plumbing, electrical conduit and basic wiring, and installation of petroleum equipment.
• Repair & replace various system components to return existing systems to service.
• Operate machinery within its designated area of use and provide maintenance as required for equipment.
• Operate and maintain vehicles including trucks, trailers, lift trucks, scissor lift, and other powered equipment.
• Test lines, tanks, sumps, dispensers and all system components as directed.
• Apply appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements.
• Work with multiple hand and power tools related to the job. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order.
• Promptly report time, travel, and parts used to the office for billing purposes.
• Assume other assignments as needed to assist coworkers, fill needed gaps, and help the team succeed.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Specific
  
  Skills:
  
  Physical strength and endurance to handle packages, equipment, various materials up to 50-pounds and carry them some distance;
  Ability to operate hand tools.
• Experience:
  
  Any construction-related experience is helpful.
• Licenses or
  
  Certifications:
  
  Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to listen and follow directions. Teamwork is essential for this role.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work cooperatively with a variety of people.
• Construction experience preferred.
