Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Low Voltage Technicians for a long-term opportunity in Fort Wayne, IN. Earn $17–$24 per hour based on experience and take the next step from electrical work into the fast-growing structured cabling and low voltage industry.

This role is ideal for electrical professionals who want to expand into low voltage systems, data centers, and structured cabling environments. You’ll work on commercial and industrial projects including data centers, hospitals, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, and more, gaining hands‑on experience in mission‑critical environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, pull, route, and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber basics)
  • Support structured cabling infrastructure in commercial and data center environments
  • Assist with rack builds, device mounting, and pathway installations
  • Apply electrical knowledge to support low voltage rough‑in and installation work
  • Read and follow basic electrical drawings, schematics, and job plans
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and OSHA regulations
  • Work alongside lead technicians and electrical/low voltage teams
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Requirements:
  • Electrical experience (apprentice, journeyman, or equivalent field experience)
  • Interest in transitioning or growing into low voltage / structured cabling work
  • Familiarity with basic electrical systems, tools, and jobsite practices
  • Low voltage or structured cabling experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and team‑first mindset
  • Commitment to safety and following direction in active job sites
