Heating Air Conditioning Technician

AWS/CES is looking for an HVAC Mechanical Technician for our automotive manufacturing client

• Location: Fort Wayne, IN
• Pay rate: up to $36.50/hr
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• EPA Certification Required

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical equipment
  .
• Diagnose system issues using technical knowledge, testing equipment, and established troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform inspections, adjustments, component replacements, and equipment installations as needed.
• Respond to HVAC service calls and equipment issues while minimizing facility downtime and maintaining comfortable operating conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed maintenance, repairs, inspections, and equipment conditions.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintenance standards, and facility requirements while performing work.

• Previous experience as an HVAC Technician, HVAC Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, or similar role

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience working with commercial, industrial, or manufacturing HVAC equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, equipment manuals, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and preventative maintenance practices

• HVAC certification or applicable trade credentials preferred.
