Field Service Technician
Ready to start a hands-on career where every day is a little different? Pro Resources is seeking a Field Service Technician for a client in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, interacting with customers, and learning new technology. Previous field service experience is not required — our client is willing to train the right candidate!
Whether you're a recent graduate, finishing up a technical program, or simply looking to start a career in a hands-on technical field, we encourage you to apply. You'll receive training and develop valuable troubleshooting and customer service skills while working directly with customers.
Shift and Compensation
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hour
- Company vehicle provided for on-site service calls
- Training provided
Job Duties
- Provide technical support and service to customers by phone and on-site
- Learn to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify solutions
- Travel to customer locations using a company vehicle stocked with the necessary tools
- Complete service calls in a professional and timely manner
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing friendly, dependable service
- Work alongside an experienced service team and learn from other technicians
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
- Continue developing technical knowledge through hands-on training and experience
Background Profile
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply! Recent graduates and candidates with technical/trade school experience are welcome
- Dependable and motivated with a willingness to learn
- Enjoys working with their hands and figuring out how things work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and traveling to customer locations
- Organized, professional, and detail-oriented
- Previous technical or field service experience is a plus, but not required — we will train!
