Mechanic – Dock & Door Field Service Technician

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
• Perform welding
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork after completion of each job

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Welding experience
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future

Demonstrates mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing dock and door equipment. Proficient in welding and capable of reading hydraulic and electrical schematics while maintaining effective communication and customer care.
