Refrigeration Technician

We are currently seeking a candidate for a full - time Refrigeration Technician in a fast paced, well respected and thriving company.

The role of the Refrigeration Technician is to assemble and install new refrigeration systems for use on Polar King Walk – in coolers & freezers as the final step in production.

• Assemble and install refrigeration systems as part of the new production process.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve installation issues.
• Possess organizational skills necessary to document system components and other installation specific details.
• Ability to read manuals, follow written directions and adapt knowledge to various customized refrigeration specifications, as per customer requirement.
• Functional knowledge of electrical work.
• HVAC certification is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in HVAC/R field repair or installation.
• Experience in mechanical systems calculations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to conduct research independently, be prepared to continually learn and adapt to new practices.

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Regularly lift and/or move 15 pounds.
• Frequently life and/or move 30 pounds.
• Occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds.
