As a Telecommunications Technician, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and support of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure.

• Install, terminate, and test telecommunications cabling systems.
• Pull and route Cat5, Cat6, and other structured cabling.
• Perform punch-downs and cable terminations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and cabling issues.
• Support the installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work.
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices on all job sites.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality.

• Cable installation experience or strong interest in learning telecommunications.
• Knowledge of structured cabling environments.
• Experience with cable pulling, routing, and termination.
• Familiarity with punch-down techniques.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and follow installation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Telecommunications, networking, or low‑voltage experience.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, VoIP, PBX systems, or network protocols.
• Technical certifications are a plus, but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
